Our specula are made from tough, smooth, easily cleaned plastic and if cared for will last for years. These extra specula are perfect for doctors, nurses or students on the go who are often seeing multiple patients with very little time to cleanse in between.
Our recommendation is for the specula to be sanitised between each use. To clean these specula we suggest immersing them in a sterilising fluid for the recommended time or using a standard alcohol wipe for a quick clean.

(2) 20x 4.5mm
4.5mm are recommended for use on adults.
2.5mm are recommended for use on children.

Love the product. Really light and compact and provides a great image to aid diagnoses. Cannot abide the appalling increase in what they charge for small packs of specula and the carriage to have them delivered.

We’re sorry you’re not happy with the cost – the price is due to them being re-useable rather than disposable specula, thus requiring higher grade plastic - but the price for the specula has remained the same since this website was launched. The small profit generated from your purchase goes to subsidise distribution in low-income countries. The delivery charge only covers our costs – we’re not yet large scale enough to receive reduced rates from couriers – if and when we do we’ll definitely look to pass these onto customers.
